UPDATE: Missing Maryland teen last seen in Lancaster County has been found

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE 2: Shyam Anand was found around 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Officials say he was located by an alert citizen and volunteer searchers in the Village of Brickerville.

UPDATE 1:  A ground search is underway with the assistance of search dogs and multiple emergency response teams.

It has been noted that Anand has dyed his hair blonde since the Photo ID was taken. Further information and details will be released as it comes available.

PREVIOUSLY: Police are urging residents to be on the lookout for a missing Maryland teen.

Shyam Anand, 17, of Maryland, was last seen at 2:30 a.m. on August 31 walking away from a camp in the 400 block of Camp Road in Clay Township.

Anand stands 5’7″ tall and weighs 120 lbs. and has black hair and dark brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing light gray sweat pants and a light gray sweat shirt.
