Millersburg man killed after vehicle strikes home in one-car crash in Halifax

HALIFAX, Dauphin County — A Millersburg man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Monday morning on Route 147, about two miles north of Halifax, according to State Police.

Dakota Lentz, 21, died when his 1997 Acura Integra crossed the northbound lane, hit an embankment, and rolled over several times, traveling approximately 300 feet before coming to rest against a home, police say. Lentz was declared dead at the scene by the Dauphin County Coroner’s office.

The vehicle was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash, according to police.

The investigation of the accident is still ongoing, police say.
