LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A South Lebanon resident was scammed out of $3,950 last week.

According to police, the 76-year-old resident received a call from an individual who stated the person’s grandson was taken into custody in Cancun and for his release and hospital expenses, the resident needed to send $3,950.

The resident obtained Walmart gift cards and provided the individual with the information.
