SHIPPENSBURG, PA — An elementary wrestling coach from Shippensburg is believed to be among the victims in the Las Vegas shooting.

According to a post on the Shippensburg Greyhound Wrestling Facebook page,  coach Bill Wolfe, Jr. attended the Jason Aldean performance in Las Vegas late Sunday night. His condition is unknown.

Wolfe had taken his wife, Robyn, to Las Vegas to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, according to J.R. Wells, a pastor at Jesus Loves You Ministry in Shippensburg. Robyn Wolfe is reportedly unharmed.

“To see,  not knowing what’s going on really hurts,” he said after leading a vigil Monday night at the Little League field where Wolfe coaches. “What my main heart concern is at this point is ‘Billy, are you okay.'”

According to a Shippensburg School District administrator, Wolfe is a 1993 Shippensburg graduate. He is not a school district employee.

A GoFundMe page has been launched to raise funds for the Wolfe family.

Wolfe is also active with the Shippensburg Little League.

“I think the kids respond to him,” said Tiffany Roth, a family friend. “I just think he made an impact on a lot of kids.”

Over 50 people were killed and over 500 injured in the shooting, which took place during a country music festival.

The gunman, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, unleashed a hail of bullets from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said Monday.
