YORK — York City police are investigating an early morning homicide at an Exxon gas station on the 1000 block of West Market Street in York City.
According to police, officers responded to the scene at 5:46 a.m., where they found a 44-year-old male victim lying on the ground. The victim died from his wounds at York Hospital, police say.
The victim has been identified as Aditya Anand, of the 1000 block of West Market Street, per a release from the York County Coroner’s office.
The suspect is a black male with a large build, approximately 30 years of age, with a beard. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an olive coat, jeans, and white sneakers.
