UPDATE, 2:10 p.m.: PennDOT confirmed to FOX43 that the Route 897 bridge over Route 222 is now open to traffic. The right southbound shoulder over the bridge has been closed off in order to keep weight off of the damaged beam.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– A crane struck an overpass along Route 222 Southbound, causing major structural damage.
It happened around 9:20 a.m. near Dry Tavern Road in Brecknock Township.
Route 222 Southbound is currently closed.
No injuries have been reported.
