UPDATE: Missing 13-year-old Carlisle girl returns home safely

Update on Feb. 20, 11:45 a.m.: Elana Person, who was reported missing by her mother, returned home. Person’s mother, Mitzi Price, called police and reported that she had returned home on her own. Police went to the home and verified that she was at home and safe.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa.– Police are searching for a missing teenage girl.

Elana Person, 13, was last seen leaving her home in the 500 block of S. Pitt Street in Carlisle at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

Person was wearing black jeans with a white stripe and an unknown colored jacket.

Anyone with information pertaining to Person’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Carlisle PD at 717-243-5252.
