LITITZ BOROUGH, LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa — Part of a road in Lancaster County is closed after a sinkhole opened up this weekend.

Officials say it formed sometime Saturday along the 500-block of West Second Avenue in Lititz. The road is closed in the immediate area, as crews get ready assess the damage this week.

Police ask the commuters to avoid the area if possible, plan alternate routes and allow extra time for travel.
