Train derails in Huntingdon County, two train cars fall into Juniata River

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa.– A train has derailed in Huntingdon Borough and two train cars are in the river, according to police.

The incident occurred on East Penn Street, and two cars have fallen into the Juniata River.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

The DEP  is aware responding, but there are no reports of hazardous materials in the cars.
