A spokesperson from Eden Resort emailed FOX43 the following statement Wednesday afternoon:

We are pleased that no one was injured during our fire in a singular Villa last evening.  The Eden Resort & Suites are grateful to our local fire  & police departments for their quick response to last night’s fire and the containment of the fire to a single outside Villa.  All of the other Villas and the primary property including guest rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms were not affected by the fire.  The fire department has not determined the cause of the fire.  We appreciate the kinds words from our clients, guests, and the local community and look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of service for which the Eden is known.
