HARRISBURG, Pa. – A man crashed his car in Harrisburg after being shot. Harrisburg Police were called to the area of N 18th and Boas Streets around 8:18 p.m. Capitol Police were on scene and rendered aid to the victim. The victim, an adult male, was seated in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and had sustained a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest. He had been parked in the 800 block of N 18th Street when he was shot. The victim then drove to the intersection of N 18th and Boas Streets, where he crashed the vehicle into the curb.
He was subsequently transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment. The investigation is on-going.
