PENN TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa — An East Petersburg man is facing charges after police say he broke into a house after a party and fell asleep.

A woman called police on Saturday morning claiming an unknown man was sleeping in her home in the 600 block of Wood Duck Drive. He had fled the scene before police arrived, but was described as a white man, wearing a bright orange t-shirt.

The man, later identified as Anthony Gebhard, 23, was stopped by Northern Lancaster County Regional Police, walking away from the scene. When officers asked, he admitted to having “bud” in his pocket.

He told police he had been at a party near-by and woke up inside the home in the 600 block of Wood Duck Road. He said he didn’t know how he got there.

The victim showed police a picture and video of Gebhard in her house.

Anthony Gebhard is charged with felony Criminal Trespassing, and two misdemeanor drug charges.

He was taken to Lancaster County Prison to await arraignment.
