SOME SUNDAY STORMS: A storm system crossing the region brings some evening showers and a few rumbles before conditions dry out across the region through the overnight period. It’s warm and stuff, with temperatures dropping into the middle to upper 60s. Some areas of haze and patchy fog develop too. It’s a dreary start to Sunday, and another approaching cold front ensures showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast. The day is drier overall to start, with clouds and haze breaking apart from mid to late morning. There’s the chance for a few thunderstorms during the afternoon. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s, and it’s also quite muggy too.



Humidity levels are comfortable to start the week. Then, they increase as temperatures warm.

QUIET START NEXT WEEK: Monday is drier with some lingering clouds for the early portion of the morning hours. Then, clouds give way to plenty of sunshine for the late morning and afternoon. Temperatures are in the upper 70s to lower 80s with comfortable humidity levels. Tuesday brings a return to plenty of sunshine. Expect similar high temperatures, with readings in the upper 70s to lower 80s. The humidity remains at comfortable levels as well. Wednesday starts to see more warming. It turns muggy, with temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. Thursday brings the next chance for thunderstorms. It’s still muggy and warm, with readings in the lower to middle 80s.

It turns humid, with temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. There’s the chance for a couple late day or evening showers and thunderstorms, and that chance continues through the night. Thursday brings a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms as well. It’s muggy and warm, with readings in the middle to upper 80s. The heat and humidity continue to crank up for Friday and Saturday! Temperatures slip into the upper 80s to lower 90s on Friday under plenty of sunshine. Heat indices reach the middle to upper 90s. Saturday is even hotter, with extremely uncomfortable humidity levels. Expect temperatures in the lower to middle 90s. Heat indices could reach lower 100s.
