LITITZ -- The Lititz Police Department is going pink and are asking members of the community to go pink with them. The department is selling pink patches and t-shirts to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
This is the second year the Lititz Borough Police Department is taking part in the pink patch project, which is a nationwide initiative.
From now until October you can purchase a pink patch or a t-shirt from the Lititz Borough Police Department to help them reach their goal of $5,000 raised. The money raised from the pink patch project will help fund the Lancaster General Health Suzanne H. Arnold Center for Breast Health.
The pink patch can be purchased at the Lititz Borough Police Department for $10.00. A t-shirt, which is a new item for the pink patch project this year in Lititz, can be purchased for $20.00.
