Police seek suspect accused of robbing Lancaster County Turkey Hill store

COLUMBIA, Lancaster County — Police are investigating the report of an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning at a Turkey Hill store on the 300 block of Chestnut Street.

According to Columbia Police, a white male suspect entered the store at approximately 1:50 a.m. He allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. After taking $50-$60, the suspect fled the scene, mounted a bicycle, and rode off toward the 300 block of Avenue G behind the store.

Police say the suspect was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a camouflage mesh face covering, a black hat, a red shirt, and was carry a black backpack, according to police.
