CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE (July 16, 8:30 a.m.): The coroner has identified the deceased in Sunday’s murder-suicide.

James Grundon, 55, shot his wife, Sue Grundon, 54, before taking his own life.

James was pronounced dead at the scene, while Sue was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sue Grundon for Tuesday, July 17.

The incident remains under investigation by East Pennsboro Police and the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office.

PREVIOUSLY: Officials in Cumberland County are investigating what is believed to be a murder-suicide in East Pennsboro Township.

Cumberland County dispatchers say the incident happened around 5:00 p.m. Sunday at a home along the 800-block of Country Club Road.

Details about the incident are limited, East Pennsboro Township police are investigating.
