Man accused of nearly striking police vehicle head-on

CARLISLE — A 36-year-old man is accused of nearly striking a police vehicle head-on just before 12 a.m. Thursday.

Following the alleged incident, Carlisle Police stopped the vehicle, which was driven by Brett Lepley.

It was determined that Lepley was under the influence of alcohol, police say.

He was placed under arrest and now faces DUI charges, police add.
