Today on FOX43 News First at Four, we’re checking in with local school districts about how they’re handling today’s heat. With temperatures high and heat indices even higher, students are being sent home early from the buildings that do not have air conditioning. We’ll talk to representatives about their policies and how they decide when to send students home. You can expect more heat wave stories today First at Four. We’ll be at Hersheypark talking to some employees who can’t escape the heat: the kettle corn chefs!

Coming up on FOX43 News First at Four, we’ll have the latest forecast models for this week’s heat wave. The combination of temps and humidity will make it feel like over 100 degrees at peak times today. Although it will be dry for most of our area, we’ll show you which towns could see some isolated showers.
