It was a slow start for Lampeter-Strasburg and Penn Manor Friday night.
The teams were scoreless until Pioneers running back Bryan McKimp found the end zone from a few yards out in the second quarter.
Lampeter-Strasburg capitalized the next drive on defense as safety Jacob Kopelman picked off the Penn Manor quarterback, taking it to the house for the two-score advantage, which was the turning point to the game.
The Pioneers were impressive in their 42-0 win over the Comets.
