MANHEIM, Lancaster County, Pa. -- Another big Lancaster-Lebanon game saw Manheim Central take on Warwick. In a league where Manheim Central is the constant, perennial contender ready to take on all challengers, this year's challenger could be Warwick. The Warriors are off to a perfect 2-0 start and ready for a test at the home of the Barons.

With the Barons down 14-7 in the third quarter, quarterback Evan Simon connected with Colby Wagner wide open  on the left half of the field. Wagner scored, tying the game at 14 in the third quarter.

The Barons continued to roll after that touchdown. They scored again on a run by Tyler Flick. After bursting through the hole and breaking off a tackle, he reached the endzone, giving Manheim Central a 21-14 lead with ten minutes left in the contest.

With Manheim Central already up by a touchdown and an extra point, the Barons were looking to score to break the game open. They went on to do just that with another touchdown run from Flick. Flick ran over two of his own teammates and stretched the ball across the goal line to to give Manheim a 27-14 lead. The Barons scored 20 straight points in the game, and that proved to be the difference.

Warwick tried to rally, down 27-14. They went on to score when Joey McCracken hit Hilton Michael in the endzone for a touchdown, closing the gap. However, it wouldn't be enough for the Warriors as the Barons defense clamps down and gets the the win 27-20.
