LEBANON, Lebanon County, Pa. -- It was a battle between two unbeaten teams as York High took on Cedar Crest at Lebanon on Friday night.
It was the last game for the York h High Bearcats before they start their York-Adams League schedule.
Cedar Crest, on the other side, had little trouble with Lebanon and Hershey to start the year.
In the first quarter York executed an end-around to Tino Conquest that netted the Bearcats a nice chunk of yardage. Later Seth Bernstein handed it off to the explosive Dayjure Stewart who slashed his way across the field and past the Falcons defense. The Bearcats strike first in this matchup.
Cedar Crest answered with Neisso Dorvil, who ran it up the far side of the field and almost scored for the Falcons. Tyler Cruz finishes off the drive and finds the endzone to tie the game.
York goes on to win 42-14. The Bearcats stay unbeaten on the young season.
