DE TORE’S DIY: Own your next tailgate with beer can chicken.

Recipe:
Rub:
2 Tbsp Old Bay
1 Tbsp granulated garlic
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Tbsp Black pepper
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp cumin
2 tsp freshly chopped rosemary
1 tsp parsley
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Paste:
1/2 cup Softened butter
1 Tbsp chicken base
2 Tbsp freshly chopped garlic
1 Tbsp Chipotle puree
2 Tbsp lime zest
- Pre-heat oven or grill to 400 degrees.
- Mix dry ingredients and then add to paste.
- Rub paste ingredients all over Chicken. Don’t forget inside the chicken and between the joints.
- Carefully slide chicken over 1/2 full can of beer
- Place oven or grill and close lid. Let cook for about an hour or until internal temperature of the fat part of the thigh reaches 170 degrees.
