YORK, York County, Pa. -- West York trekked over to Eastern York Friday night. It was a debut of sorts for the Golden Knights as they came flying out of their brand new inflatable for the first time.
The Bulldogs, however, managed to score first, opening up this close contest. They took a completion all the way down to the one yard line before punching it in for a 1-yard touchdown run.
The Golden Knights were able to respond. Quarterback Trevor Seitz connected with Dylan Zurin for the score.
With the Golden Knights down 14-7 late in the half, the Bulldogs managed to take a lead into the locker despite a tough attempt from Seitz. Seitz tried to sneak the ball across the goal line, but the Golden Knights defense held him out.
