Harrisburg shooting victim identified; police seek person of interest

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.– Update: The man killed in Sunday’s shooting in Harrisburg has been identified as 39-year-old Daniel Chacon, according to Harrisburg Police.

Police add that through investigation, a person of interest has been identified: Antoine Geter (pictured). Police say Geter, 29, has connections to Steelton and Harrisburg.

On October 7 around 9:40 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of S. 15th Street for a reported shooting victim.

Upon arrival, police found a man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
