LANDISVILLE, Lancaster County, Pa. -- Manheim Township went to Hempfield Friday night.
The Blue Streaks were airing it out early and often on a windy night. Harrison Kirk connected with Brett Benjamin, both juniors, for the touchdown. The extra point makes it 14-6, Manheim Township in the first quarter.
The Kirk to Benjamin connection worked for Manheim Township throughout the game. Kirk again connected with Benjamin for a big first down gain later in the contest.
On that same drive, Kirk found another junior, Mickey Stokes. The Blue Streaks were on a roll in this one. They secured a share of the Section I title along with Warwick and Wilson.
The final was 48-13 over the Black Knights.
