CAMP HILL, Cumberland County, Pa. -- The only 1-A game on Friday was the district championship, featuring top seed, Halifax, at home against Fairfield.
In the first half, and the Wildcats with the ball, Tyler Berzowski ran straight ahead into the endzone, putting Halifax ahead 14-0.
And even with the bad weather, Halifax had success in the air. London Johnson connected with Evan Billow for another touchdown. The score extended the lead to 21-0 for the Wildcats.
Johnson also found Dalton Marshall on a screen pass. Marshall carried it in for six more for Halifax.
Halifax secured the first district football title of the postseason with a 37-6 win.
