On FOX43 News At Ten: A York County volunteer fire department is fighting for its funding.

A police investigation is keeping East Manchester Township from releasing the funds but the fire chief says its hurting services as the funding is necessary to help purchase gear and fire apparatus.

FOX43’s Grace Griffaton spoke with the township manager about the issue. That’s coming up at 10.

Also on FOX43 News, new changes could soon come to a major street in Harrisburg.

$6 million conversion project will enter its next phase, turning 2nd Street into a two-way street for the first time in more than 60 years. 

It’s a project city officials say is long overdue, and has safety and quality-of-life benefits.

A public meeting was held tonight to explain the project and get public input.
