HARRISBURG, Dauphin County, Pa. -- Top seed Bishop McDevitt hosted West Perry in a 4-A quarterfinal game in Harrisburg.
Bishop McDevitt got the scoring going in the game, and it didn't take them long. Bishop McDevitt's C.J. Reyes-Diggs received a handoff and hurdled a defender for a large gain, setting them up with the opportunity to score. on the next play, another handoff to Reyes-Diggs resulted in a touchdown. The point after was good, making it 7-0, Bishop McDevitt.
In the second quarter, Bishop McDevitt extended the lead to two scores, making it 14-0.
West Perry's Brody Stambaugh muscled his way in for a short touchdown run, putting them on the board. But it was not nearly enough, as Bishop McDevitt ran away with the game.
The Crusaders are home again next week. They won going away, 49-14.
