DAUPHIN COUNTY — A Harrisburg man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Susquehanna Township Sunday night.
The accident occurred on North Front Street at Tuscarora Street just before 6:30 p.m., according to police.
Michael Powers, 52, died at the scene, police say.
According to Boiling Springs Tavern’s Facebook page, Powers had been a bartender for nearly 24 years.
“It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our fantastic bartender, Mike Powers. A life cut way too short,” the post read. “He faithfully served as our head bartender for nearly 24 years. During that time he crafted thousands of cocktails and created memorable experiences for so many of our guests.
“He will be missed. He will be remembered. He will not be forgotten.”
The crash is under investigation.
