LANCASTER — Three people were arrested on drug charges after members of the Lancaster Bureau of Police Selective Enforcement Unit and other officers raided a residence on the 500 block of East King Street last week.
Police executing a search warrant at the home after a two-month investigation into the sale of synthetic marijuana in the area. Officers discovered approximately 1.25 pounds of synthetic marijuana, commonly referred to as K2, at the scene, police say.
Small amounts of cocaine and marijuana were also found, according to police.
The suspects arrested were:
- Maurice Barr, 31, of East Hempfield Township. SEU investigators already had criminal charges prepared against Barr for delivery and criminal conspiracy to deliver synthetic cannabinoids, and took him into custody on those charges. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $75,000 bail.
- Michelle Peters, 50, of the 500 block of East King Street, Lancaster, who was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (two counts), possession of cocaine, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Michael Reynolds, 35, of the 300 block of East King Street, Lancaster, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Peters and Reynolds were committed to Lancaster County Prison. Bail for each was set at $250,000.
