YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The York Suburban School District said in a letter Tuesday that it has reported allegations of “inappropriate behavior by one of our employees” to authorities.
The school district added that it recently became aware of the allegations. Specifics have not yet been released.
The school district said that it’s conducting its own investigation into the matter.

Dear Parents,
We were recently made aware of allegations of inappropriate behavior by one of our employees. Immediately upon receiving that information, the York Suburban administration took actions necessary to protect our students. Among other actions, the administration immediately reported the allegations to the appropriate authorities, both civil and legal. In addition, the school district is conducting its own investigation, and we will continue to cooperate fully with outside authorities.
Please understand that we cannot comment further on this issue or any other issue related to actual or potential personnel actions.
