LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE (March 1, 7:30 a.m.): Quarryville Fire Company has identified the man struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday.
According to the Fire Company’s Facebook page, David Hess was the man struck and killed.
He was identified as a member of the fire police:
PREVIOUSLY: Crews are on the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash.
The crash occurred in the area of State St. and Groffdale Dr. in Quarryville Borough around 6:00 a.m.
Route 372 is closed in both directions in the area due to the incident.
The crash is still under investigation.
