HARRISBURG — Two people were injured in a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in Harrisburg, according to police.
A nearby elementary school was temporarily placed on lockdown in response to the incident, which occurred at 10:37 a.m. on the 1200 block of South 13th Street.
Two men were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Harrisburg Police say.
The Harrisburg School District said Foose Elementary School was put on lockdown as a precaution after the shooting occurred, but the lockdown was lifted around 11 a.m., after police secured the scene.
