LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. -- UPDATE (6:55 a.m.): Jaimielynn Darling was located safely around 6:30 a.m.

The girl spent the night at a friend's house and failed to tell her parents.

UPDATE: The Manheim Borough Police Dept. says a massive search is underway this morning for a missing 10-year-old girl.

Officers say Jamielynn Darling was last seen leaving a home on the 600 block of Sun Hill Rd. in Penn Township around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Police say she had attended school earlier in the day and was last seen wearing grey leggings and a t-shirt.

She is 4’4” tall, has long blonde hair, blue eyes and pierced ears.

Jamielynn lives on the 600 bl. of South Charlotte Street in Manheim.

The Manheim Borough Police posted on their facebook page that fire and rescue crews are using drones, helicopters, and scent dogs in the area of Sun Hill Rd to help in their search efforts.

Officers are urging any one who may have seen Jamielynn (on or after April 30, 2019) or know of her possible whereabouts to call 911.
