YORK COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE (11:20 a.m.): The coroner has identified the motorcyclist who died in Thursday night’s crash.
Tyler Beaverson, 32, of Dover, died as a result of striking a truck while on his motorcycle.
There will be no autopsy.
PREVIOUSLY: The York County Coroner says one man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle.
It happened around 9:13 p.m. on Carlisle Road in Dover Township.
The York County Coroner says the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Rt. 74 at a high rate of speed and struck a truck.
The motorcyclist was found unresponsive and died at the scene.
It’s unclear if anyone in the other vehicle was injured.
