ADAMS COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE (8:55 a.m.): Students were able to return to the middle school around 8:30 a.m.

According to the school district’s Facebook post, two squirrels touched a transformer outside the middle school, causing the surge and a roof top unit to fail.

PREVIOUSLY: The Littlestown Area School District is asking middle school students to report to the high school auditorium.

According to the school district’s Facebook post, there is currently smoke in the middle school cafeteria due to a unit on the roof.

All middle school students are being asked to report to the high school auditorium.
