JUNIATA COUNTY, Pa. — The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in Juniata County Wednesday night.

The 3.4-magnitude earthquake occurred southwest of Mifflintown, the USGS said.

According to the USGS’s DYFI (Did You Feel It?) responses, the earthquake was felt as far away as Tuscaloosa, Alabama or over 1200 km from its point of origin.

Most responses were in the Central Pennsylvania region, with Mechanicsburg reporting the most responses at 170.
