20-year-old woman taken to hospital after being shot in the wrist in York

YORK COUNTY, Pa.– One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in York.

Emergency dispatch says that a shooting occurred around 11:10 p.m. on June 12 in the 800 block of West King Street.

Upon arrival, police found that a 20-year-old woman had suffered a single gun shot wound to her right wrist.

She was treated at the hospital for her injury, but the extent is unknown at this time.

Police are still investigating the incident to determine a suspect and motive behind the incident.
