One man injured in York City shooting

YORK, PA — York City police investigate shooting that hospitalized one man on Friday evening.

Police say they were dispatched to the 900 block of Wayne Avenue for a reported shooting around 6 p.m.

Responding officers found a 34 year-old York man with a single gun shot wound in the back.

He was taken to York Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Investigators say the shooting was the result of a dispute between the victim, and the suspect, who has yet to be identified.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, or any of the individuals involved is asked to contact the York City Police Department.  Tipsters will never have to give their name.
