YORK COUNTY — Update (7:18 p.m.): The coroner’s office said Monday evening that the man’s death is believed to be possibly drug-related and no foul play is suspected.

Update (12:55 p.m.): The victim, a male whom York City Police have not yet identified, was found in the area of the Grantley Street Bridge at 9:04 a.m., police say. Drug paraphernalia was located nearby, according to police.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death, police say. The matter is still under investigation.

A body was found along the Codorus Creek Monday morning, York County Coroner Pam Gay confirmed.

Gay’s office was called to the area of West College Avenue and Grantley Road shortly after 9 a.m. for the report of a found body.

No additional information was immediately available. FOX 43 will continue to update the story.
