York man taken to the hospital after being shot in leg

YORK COUNTY, Pa.– Police are investigating a shooting that left one man in the hospital.

On August 23 around 2:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of West Poplar Street in York.

Upon arrival, police discovered 27-year-old Urian Rivera of York, who had been shot in the leg.

He was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Police believe that Rivera was targeted in this case, but no arrests have been made as of this writing.
