LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE: A Coatesville man is facing charges after allegedly stealing nearly $6,500 worth of merchandise from a grocery store.
Julius Banks, 31, is facing five counts of felony retail theft for his role in the incident.
Police say Banks stole merchandise on the following dates / times:
- 12:45 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019
- 3:40 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019
- 3:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2019
- 3:55 a.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019
- 3:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019
In total, authorities say Banks stole 610 pieces of merchandise, totaling $6,262.00.
On Sunday, October 20, Banks entered the Giant Food Store in Lititz Pike in Manheim Township and was taken into custody without incident.
PREVIOUSLY: Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a retail theft suspect.
Police say the pictured individual entered the Giant Food Store in Lititz Pike in Manheim Township on 17 different occasions between August 3 and August 31, and stole more than $6,500 worth of merchandise.
