YORK COUNTY, Pa. — An 83-year-old man was charged in August for the alleged sexual assault of a child that occurred more than 10 years ago.
Earl Willoughby, of Jacobus, faces the following charges: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault and corruption of minors, court documents show.
Police became aware of the sexual assault through a Childline referral — an interview with the victim, who is now 16 years old, took place January 3.
Willoughby allegedly sexually assaulted the child when his wife, who was babysitting the victim and her brother, would leave to go somewhere. The incidents occurred between August 2005 and August 2007 at Willoughby’s home, when the victim was three to five years old, charging documents say.
