CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. — The judge handling Jerry Sandusky’s resentencing has recused himself from the case.
Judge John Foradora signed the order Wednesday.
On Monday, Senior Deputy Attorney General Jennifer Buck and Alexander Lindsay, counsel for Sandusky, signed a stipulation asking for Judge Foradora to recuse himself. Both parties asked for the judge to recuse himself after the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General initiated an action in August that involved a matter “separate, distinct and wholly unrelated” to the Sandusky case.
No further details related to the matter were released.
