Police: One person taken to hospital after shooting in York City

YORK — One person was transported to the hospital Wednesday after a shooting in York City, police say.

Police responded to the 100 block of East Clarke Avenue for a report of a shooting, where they found the victim, who had been shot by an unknown suspect. Dispatch says the call came in just after 7 p.m.

The victim was taken to York Hospital and is in stable condition.
