LONDON (CNN) – A number of people have been injured in a stabbing incident at London Bridge, according to Metropolitan Police. Police are calling the this incident terror-related.
“Police were called at 1:58 p.m. to a stabbing at premises near to London Bridge,” the force said.
People in London tackled a man holding a knife as London Police ran over with guns. The suspect was killed on the scene.
Police say the suspect had some type of device on his body that looked like an explosive but it was a “hoax device”. There was no explosion.
FOX News is reporting “a large knife was involved in the incident”.
A terror attack on the bridge in 2017 killed several people.
