PERRY COUNTY, Pa. — A Harrisburg man faces charges for allegedly robbing two Perry County men and threatening them with a gun.
Pennsylvania State Police say that they were called out to a home in Rye Township around 2 p.m. on Feb. 11 for reports of a robbery. Investigation allegedly determined that Tottian Winston, 32, of Harrisburg, came to the house with several other people and robbed the victims.
Winston hit both of the victims in the back of the head with a gun before going through their rooms and pockets, according to an affidavit of probable cause. The victims allegedly told PSP that Winston continued to point the gun at them and threatened to shoot them as they sat on the floor while the others robbed them.
Troopers say they saw bleeding cuts and redness on the back of both of the victims' heads.
The victims knew one of Winston's co-conspirators from working on her car, according to a criminal complaint. Winston allegedly talked to the victims about the co-conspirator's brakes before hitting them with the gun.
One of the victims also allegedly told police that Winton's co-conspirators stabbed the tires and rifled through his car. Police say the suspects stole $222, a wallet with debit cards, a backpack, three cell phones, medical marijuana and the keys to a van.
Winston is charged with two counts of conspiracy - robbery-threat immediate serious injury, conspiracy - burglary - overnight accommodations; person present, conspiracy - theft by unlawful taking-movable property, two counts of aggravated assault - attempts to cause or causes bodily injury with deadly weapon, two counts of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, and two counts of simple assault.
Winston is being held in the Perry County Prison, unable to post $150,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 20.
