YORK, Pa. — A York City man was found guilty of first-degree murder following a four-day trial, according to the York County District Attorney's Office.
Alexis Cado-Suero, 18, was on trial for the 2021 shooting death of 16-year-old Tyree Smart. Suero shot and killed Smart, who was walking along the 300 block of West Newton Avenue on March 27, 2021.
Cado-Suero was 15 years old at the time of his arrest. He was also found guilty of possession of a firearm by a minor.
