PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Matt Klinedinst joined the FOX43 News team in April 2022, returning to the place he's called home for all of his life. He previously worked as a Multimedia Journalist at Big FOX WYDC-TV in Corning, New York.
Born in Harrisburg and growing up in York Haven, Matt puts the "local" in our local news coverage. After graduating from Red Land High School, Matt attended Shippensburg University as a Communications/Journalism major. He was heavily active in the campus TV station, SUTV, where he helped provide news and sports coverage for the school.
After graduating in 2018, Matt got his first TV job at WHP CBS21 in Harrisburg as a News Editor. He then got his first reporting job in the Southern Tier of New York at Big FOX WYDC-TV in 2020. Matt also previously worked as an intern at WHTM ABC27, working with the late, great sports broadcaster Gregg Mace.
Outside of work, Matt spends time with his friends and family, and goes on frequent golf outings. As a diehard Penn State fan, Matt bleeds Blue and White. He can be seen in the stands of Beaver Stadium cheering on his beloved Nittany Lions during the football season (We Are...).
Matt is excited to be back in Central Pennsylvania and fulfilling his lifelong dream of reporting news in his hometown.
