Rachel’s Café and Creperie goes retro for Lancaster City Restaurant Week

Rachel’s Café and Creperie has a lineup of savory specialty crepes inspired by past favorites for Lancaster City Restaurant Week.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Rachel’s Café and Creperie is going retro.

The eatery has a lineup of savory specialty crepes inspired by past favorites for Lancaster City Restaurant Week.

"A lot of people think that we just do desserts and crepes have to be sweet, but really, you can put anything in them," Rachel Adams, owner Rachel’s Café and Creperie, said.

The specials for Restaurant Week include:

  • The Cuban Crepe: ham, braised pork shoulder, pickles, mustard, swiss cheese
  • The Cylo Crepe: garlic, cheddar, feta, braised pork shoulder, curry aioli, spinach
  • Cheeseburger Crepe: cheddar cheese, beef burger patty, tomatoes, onions, pickles, burger sauce
  • Breakfast Pico Burrito Crepe: garlic infusion, eggs, cheddar cheese, black beans, plant based chorizo, and fresh pico de gallo

If none of those have your stomachs rumbling, the Creperie allows you to build your own crepe. Fall specials are also on the menu now, which means fun pumpkin drinks and seasonal eats.

"It's fun to be able to get creative and add something new to the menu, offer different things, especially coming out of the summer season and all that chaos, it's kind of a nice ease into the fall season," Adams said.

Lancaster City Restaurant Week runs through Sept. 15.

Anyone hungry for a sweet or savory treat can find Rachel’s Café and Creperie at 201 W. Walnut St. in Lancaster. The eatery is open Tuesday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
